What’s impacting your back pain?

Help University of Queensland researchers understand what and how factors (across domains of biology, psychology, sociology and behaviour) relate to back pain by completing a series of online surveys.

Study Purpose/Description

Researchers from Queensland University want to better understand what factors influence day-to-day back pain. These include biological, psychological, sociological and behavioural factors.

What’s involved?

Participants will be asked to download a free smartphone app. Researchers will use this app to gather information related to participant’s low back pain.

Participants will be asked to complete:

  • A Baseline Questionnaire: ~20-25 minutes to complete.
  • Daily Updates: Respond to simple questions (~3 minutes/day).
  • Follow-Up Surveys: Up to twice a week for 3 months.

Participation is voluntary, and you can withdraw anytime without penalty or impact on your care.
Participants will receive a $100 AUD voucher upon completion of the 3-month study.
